The development approach for the area seeks to enhance and diversify tourism through developing tourism and business facilities which blend well with the natural environment and existing ecotourism activities in line with the world heritage site principles.
The proposed integrated tourism resort will accommodate the central business district, medical tourism facility, golf estate, civic centre, holiday homes, hotels, villas, sports facilities, international finance centre, duty free trade zone, a hotel school and conference facilities.
